what is a cinemagraph?

A cinemagraph is best defined as “a still photograph in which a minor and repeated movement occur, often giving the illusion that the viewer is watching an animation”.

Cinemagraphs are made by “compositing photographs or video frames into a seamless loop of sequential frames”.
